Description
I stayed at a Sydney hotel last week, an old building with the path from reception to my room being a long, twisted journey that culminated in a long, narrow corridor with my room's door right at the end, beckoning to me.
Getting home from a gig at 3am, it occurred to me that I felt like I'd stepped onto the set of The Shining. I snapped a quick photo on my iPhone and processed it with the freebie app from Mill Film, and posted that to Facebook as a late-night gag. And people seemed to actually like it.
This is a version shot with a DSLR, and processed in Photoshop. It's still a snapshot, but dammit, it's an ARTY snapshot
Many thanks to Richard for the loan of the D90.

Good moody piece ...
Love the perspective and the washed out highlights in stages down the length of the corridor.
Nicely caught
